Yes. Every new daycare and boarding guest completes a complimentary half-day evaluation so we can find the right playgroup and make sure they're comfortable before an overnight stay.

We accept dogs up to 30 pounds. If your pup is small and overweight, we are always open to make exceptions - just contact us.

Please do. Keeping your dog on their regular diet prevents upset stomachs. Portion it out by meal and we'll handle the rest at no extra cost.

Dogs over seven months must be spayed or neutered to participate in group play. Intact dogs are welcome for grooming and can be considered for private boarding.

Daycare for a full day runs Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM, with half and full days available. Full-day drop-off is any time between 7-9 AM and pick-up is any time between 5-6 PM. For boarding, drop off and pick up are 8-9 AM or 12-2 PM. Daycare is included in your stay - any pick up after 9 AM your dog heads to daycare for $30.

We are happy to work with you. Early or late pick-ups will have an extra charge of $10, but we are happy to work with you. Boarding drop off or pick up outside the 8-9 AM and 12-2 PM windows must be made by reservation.

Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper (DHLPP), Parvo and Leptospirosis (annual booster) are required for every guest, whether they are here for daycare, boarding or grooming.

All vaccines must be given at least 14 days before your booking start date so there is time for immunity to develop.

Upload them when you sign up as a pet owner, or email them to info@thelildogs.com. We keep them securely on file for future visits, so you only need to send updates after new boosters.

Yes. When you visit your vet for booster shots, ask them to fax the vaccination certificate directly to us at 586-777-7793 and we will print it and keep it on file for you.

Fill out our new pet owner form. It collects your contact details, your dog's information and emergency contact, and lets you upload vaccination records in one place. After that we will reach out with a meet & greet time.
